The title song from Kalidas Jayaram’s upcoming film Poomaram was released recently online and much to the delight of the crew, the song is an instant chartbuster. The song which was released on Friday was received big time by the youngsters within no time. There are enough reasons for the songs reception, the curiosity of the audience about Junior Jayarms entry as a lead hero to Malayalm Cinema, the simple yet attractive lyrics, soothing and melodies tune etc. The Jayaram family is having high hopes on the film as it will mark Kalidas’s re entry to Malayalam Cinema as a lead hero after doing few child characters in the past. The little hero took the audience attention from his debut film ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’ directed by Sathyan Anthikkadu. He acted along with his father in the emotional drama which starred Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Kavya Madhavan. Later he was seen in films like ‘Ente Veedu Appoontem’ where also he was seen along with his dad. The film not only went on to become a big hit, but also earned many awards and recognition for the talented kid including the state awards. Ever since the boys entry was awaited by the audience as he showed his glimpse of talent in his very childhood itself.
His first Tamil film ‘Meenkuzhambum Manpaanayum’ directed by Amudeshvar was released couple of weeks ago but unfortunately it went without a trace for its poor output and right now his Malayalam film is much needed one for the hero and his well wishers. The presence of Prabhu and Kamal Haasan could also do nothing to save the film from getting an outright rejection. ‘Poomaram’ is being directed by Abrid Shine after 1983 and Action Hero Biju and that is giving enough hopes on the film. The title song is composed and sung by debutant Fizal Razi and by now the song has completed more than 17 lakhs views in its youtube channel.
